September is Balrog Bashing Month!

Mom was planning to go shopping with dad and Gran today... but instead went to my friend's old house, to help her children. There are one or two clothing items for me to try on, I'll go and take care of that when I can - and those I turn down, well mom can cross that bridge if we come to it...

Mom will let me know when the funeral (which has at least been confirmed, to be a cremation) will be, and of course if I need to bash Balrog for it - if so, then I will have do the honours, obviously as we still await my revenge for mom's blasphemy to Kylie. My family is very aware of Street Fighter X Tekken, mom herself actually called Balrog 'the nasty man'... so, well, yeah...


Our friend's son was also very thankful, for the Lego Darth Vader I sent him. Again, as he is a Star Wars fan... I figured he too may want to pay tribute to James Earl Jones, so that figurine -which was in the Darth tin I bought, while out shopping last week- will surely do...

Mom let me have some of her friend's old clothes to choose from, I picked out a pair of 'house coats' (basically, a sort of nightgown) and a pair of slippers. I was still only wearing one of the house coats, when I had my airing announcement last night - so the house coat had to go in the laundry already, as I swapped my everyday clothing for Street Fighter regalia...

And unfortunately, there is a strong chance that it'll be a closed casket funeral - but again, my family is very aware of Street Fighter X Tekken, mom herself having actually called Balrog 'the nasty man'... so mom understands I cannot go, and that yes I will bash Balrog. Cammy will do the honours for the Balrog bashing, as we still wait to avenge mom's blasphemy to Kylie Minogue - however, I can tell you that one of Cammy's Super Street Fighter 2 costume colours is a black outfit, so I suppose that would be a fitting mourning choice, no?

Our friend's children have an appointment with the funeral director this week, they will let mom know when it is. I don't know for sure, but especially with it being confirmed to be a cremation, my guess is they'll be using the same popular local funeral garden again - my family and friends have long used it, including for the only two funerals I've ever attended (in fact, the second one was nearly four years before we became anti-Balrog); and even my evil ex-sister-in-law Tango used it last year, when her new boyfriend's dad passed just before the coronation...

As you are a Charlie fan, I figured you'd appreciate fighting alongside him as one of Guile's highest officers - and then of course, with him being captured by Bison and then turned into Blanka... you'd be quite pissed at Bison, and yes you'd accompany Guile as he himself sneaks into Shadaloo Palace, so you could find Charlie and comfort him, and then you'd fight alongside him as Guile bursts into the command room (and, yes, Vega and I finally betray Bison!)? Yes, this means you, too, would appear on Bison's screen, when he's all like "Where's Blanka??" !

Also, as you and Lemmy are both Mario fans... this would explain my having you both dressed in your Sneaky Lyin' Cheatin' Giant Ninja Koopas attire, yes from one of my old anti-Balrog drabbles

for the Final Fantasy Tactics Advance players, equip a Dark Fiddle - it prevents mute! Hmmm, in my fics... with regard to Vega's orchestra (who obviously play my bridal entrance, at the wedding!), should the violinists all have Dark Fiddles?

I mention this, because Final Fantasy Tactics Advance is another of my airing gifts thus far. I'd been thinking about it for a few days, when I saw it at a shop in town last week... and in light of my airings, in the end I just gave in. I even named my clan 'Halo Soda', after the 'Shadaloo' anagram in Turtles VS Street Fighter.

I spoke with mom this afternoon - our friend's funeral has been booked for October 8, so I'll likely bash Balrog around then if applicable.

This will also be the second time, when I've had an airing -one for which I will wear the red airing dress, I might add- three days after a funeral! When I began my first airing celebration without Grandpa Ken, the point of the first airing being three days after his funeral did not go unnoticed - that is, because I always point out on Facebook when my next airing is three days away, as a nod to Bison's ransom deadline in the movie.


As for wearing the red airing dress, yes obviously I was on a Ken Masters binge as we worried for Grandpa Ken - hence Ken's domination of the then-newly-created Street Fighter mandate, up until my revenge on Carie. So, when mom informed me that Grandpa Ken was medically declared to be dying... yes, as well as my carrying out the Rainbow Bridge security for him, it only felt right to wear the red airing dress, for all of my airings up until my first celebration without him and, yes, later also for my first airing celebration since his ashes were spread. Dad thus also wanted me to wear the red dress, when I was to have airings on the three-year anniversary of when we lost Grandpa Ken - which was just as well really, when Ken had to retake Street Fighter mandate domination (and even then, Santa Claude came to town) for that year, on behalf of my cat Mel.

But in this case, I'm wearing the red dress because of M Bison's Street Fighter 6 release, and especially all the horse hype for him. The movie strongly implies, that M Bison likes his women to wear red just like him - yes, hence certain content in my fics. So, I thought about it... and it only felt right to wear the red dress, for my first airing since M Bison's Street Fighter 6 release - which, as it turns out, would be my first with my friends returning here

Turns out our friend was a Catholic, but she didn't like any of the Catholic churches around here - however, one Catholic priest she favoured has agreed to perform the service...

The only other purple clothing I could think of that I have, is my Pac-Man Christmas sweater - but I doubt it'd be appropriate for a funeral, because it has the four ghosts on it. I did offer it to dad, though, but he politely rejected my offer.

There was a Kylie video-streaming show on TV yesterday, and yes I can tell you they showed the video for Your Disco Needs You . That show will be on again a few times this week, no doubt because Kylie is releasing her new album next month - no guarantee that Your Disco Needs You will be shown each time, but I'll be sure to watch it!
