And the first achievement is in, I am pleased to announce my first completion of the NES classic Super Mario Bros. 2 on Sunday April 18 2021. Fun game!

Actually, I chose it because of the Shyguy plush I also had as an airing gift this time. That Shyguy just looked so cute, I knew right away he's coming home with me - so I chose the first achievement (which itself, I'd had as an airing gift) in his honour ^_^

And the third achievement is in, I am pleased to announce my first completion of the Game Boy game Super Mario Land on Sunday April 25 2021. Another fun classic!

Actually, one of the reasons why I chose it... is because of the tins of Mario Kart candy I've had as airing gifts, I bought them at one of my haunting grounds and yes I do plan to keep the tins, I can store unboxed games in them. The designs on each tin (and the flavour of the candy in each tin) are lucky-dip, but now I have the full set - whichever tin you get means you've won the respective Mario Kart race cups, so I have won all six cups Mushroom, Flower, Star, Shell, Banana and of course Special

And we are now in the final countdown, to my airing tomorrow. Wish me luck - and stay safe!

However, I'm a little worried about Yoshimoto. He's been having bathroom issues (no thanks to mom's, ahem, crap choice of cat litter), though thankfully not like that of Blinky and Raul... and even after I fixed that, he's been spending a lot of time sleeping in his cardboard box. He hasn't cried out, like Mel did when he was taken ill - so if he is in any form of pain and suffering, he's being very quiet about it.

I'll monitor him for the day, with military precision of course - but if there is any trouble, I'll nag my parents to vet him tomorrow (for obvious reasons, today might... not be such a good idea...). If he just needs meds (hell, I considered if Mel might have needed laxatives or something like that, when my parents suspected he had an upset stomach) then that's cool, but... 10:46 a.m. Sunday is the final countdown to my next airings, so...

Yes, I chose it (and even bought it, actually) because of my Super Mario Bros. Super Show DVD. After getting a few other games (including your namesake's debut game, Super Mario Bros. 3) from the same market stall, I opted to give it some thought about buying the original Super Mario Bros. as well - but as soon as I saw that DVD of the Super Mario Bros. Super Show, well that settles it don't you think?
