And the fourth achievement is in, I am pleased to announce my first completion of the NES classic Super Mario Bros. 3 on Saturday May 15 2021. Another enjoyable game!

Yes, this was another choice because of Yoshimoto - in the remake of this game, the king of Pipe Land is transformed into a Yoshi;
and of course, there's the point of it being Dennis Hopper Memorial Month, and the Koopa Kids (including Lemmy and Roy!) debuted in this game.

Mom has been hanging a few of my Lego Street Fighter frames around my apartment, and we'll see if we can hang any more. She thought of it as like a picture gallery of sorts, which is very fitting as such noble residences as, say, the Castle de Maria Isabelle would have a gallery!

An airing has also been booked for May 31, which means the final countdown for it is on the day when I have Jasmine! I knew I'd end up having yet another new kitten, as an airing gift - so it's just as well I gave her a traditional Capcom name, no?

As if the Disney thing (i.e. Aladdin being one of the Disney games made by Capcom), yes I am now also reminded about Jasmine from the Viewtiful Joe games. Henshin-a-go-go, baby - I'll have to think about giving Rashid (who has a Viewtiful Joe costume) a mention, for the Street Fighter mandate!

And once again, Zangief returns to the 'airings on a fighter's birthday' pantheon - I have an airing booked for Zangief's birthday June 1!

Zangief has previously joined the pantheon - but unfortunately, Donut Lord ruined the first such case (in 2014), when he insulted a Vega figure which Roy sold me within the final countdown. If not for the 'no real life' commissions rule, I can see Slasher requesting a 'Zangief VS Donut Lord' commission...

And the fifth achievement is in, I am pleased to announce my first completion of the GBA version of Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link on Sunday May 23 2021. Lovely game!

This one is actually rather special - it was one of the airing gifts I bought, when mom and I went to town on the day before we surrendered Yoshimoto. So I completed it in his memory 0:-)
