| March is Jay Month, not only because March 23 is in fact :jay:'s birthday... but also, it was on his 41st birthday, when I became the proud owner of my precious Jay photo!
The photo was the beginning of Jay showering me with gifts - and like with a number of his kind gestures, it could not have been better-timed, as it arrived in a time of great need: as if our discovery of the Street Fighter X Tekken obscenity wasn't enough, my cat Blinky (October 13 2002 - April 12 2012) had just been taken ill... and despite our best efforts over the coming few weeks, Ryu had to dedicate his fight to him just after Easter. Blinky's successor was Mel (March 3 2012 - September 6 2019), the cat I lost in Balrog Bashing Month 2019 - in turn meaning, that Thunder (b. July 12 2019) is Blinky the 3rd.
First and foremost, there is the point of my two airings this month! The first of my two airing days, March 2, was actually the due date for my niece (she was due around March 2 2020 - but, well, the Rainbow Bridge security commanded her to be born via C-section 40 days early, on one of my airing days that year); while March 8 has previously been an airing day, both it and Mel's 7th birthday were airing days in 2019.
There is also good news for the Street Fighter 6 players - you can now get Mega Man content, including costumes! I'm guessing this is the start, of the Street Fighter 6 equivalent to the Street Fighter 5 crossover costumes? https://www.eventhubs.com/news/2024/feb/29/sf6-mega-man-fighting-pass/
Yes, I realise it's just as well about the Mega Man games I have completed for my airings - I do have a couple more on the cards, so yes I'll see about including them this time...

Well, he's certainly taken a shine to me And on one of his Facebook videos, he used that song " I smoke two joints in time of peace, and two in time of war" , which I know one of the hamsters who used to post here (Hamtaro, I think?) used for his custom bio in his profile. So if the hamsters still lurk around, I saw Jay's video and thought of you 0:-)

Damme right it has! There is a bit of bad news, though: the dog fouler has been released early from prison, and yes he says he will get the dog back again soon. I have thus advised my dad to keep an eye on the camera app on his phone, particularly just before half five in the morning (that was the usual time, when the dog fouled on my lawn); and just in case, I've got one of my notebooks ready to document any fouls (and, if applicable, other trouble). Gran has reassured me, though, about the dog fouler being on probation - and if he strikes again, then he will be recalled to prison to complete his sentence...

| update: the fouling dog returned this evening, while I was working on the latest pre-airing gaming achievement. If that dog shits on my lawn... well, she should be so lucky I still have an airing on Friday... | |

| Don't let any dog foul your lawn. If they poop then the owner must pick it up | |

Indeed, Mod Soul! I think it was Alexis, who recently also mentioned about a dog fouling problem? There is also an ongoing dog fouling problem in the village where Gran lives, so I have put forward the advice to have cameras installed in the hotspots there... Again, Gran has reassured me about the dog fouler being on probation - so I'm guessing, that dog fouling could be one of the things which could result in a prison recall for him...? This wasn't his first prison sentence, either - he had multiple sentences in the past (including for throwing a dog out of a window!), and a failed appeal to reduce one of them. So he's obviously a known criminal...

| Nothing worse than when there is poop on the sidewalk and you accidentally step on it. | |

And such trouble can make the subject a tricky one to avoid! I have today also learned, that there's a new dog fouler in town! I received a letter about dog fouling in my area, so I phoned the council to plead my innocence - the problem has been going on, since even before the dog fouler was released from prison. However, they are grateful that I alerted them about the dog fouler himself, including him having just been released from prison... The fouls haven't been on my lawn, though - likely elsewhere in the street?

| When the dog has diarrhea it is difficult to pick up but at least the rain washed it away | |

True, though it still has to be done by law...

I hope not! But if you need to turn the dog fouler to stone, then best wait until, say, Mario Day (this coming Sunday!) at the earliest...

| Yes Jaden, we are being careful. ************** Also, I'm very sorry to hear about Akira Toriyama. I'm not a superfan, but I do have and have had some of the games he worked on (plus one of my figures wears a Dragonball keychain, for part of his bling!) - and yes, I have completed some of them. I cannot promise if I'll complete any for next time, but I am open to discussion. I can tell you, I'm still looking for the DS port of Chrono Trigger again - that game is so cute, and IMO it's like Final Fantasy meets Bill & Ted. | |

| oh, almost forgot (how could I?) - remember, in my fics... this is my bridal entrance to my wedding with Vega: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_phBjf6Q818
In case anyone asks, the DS version of Dragon Quest 5 has already been a pre-airing gaming achievement (and I actually had it as an airing gift, for the airings which Carie ruined...) - but the SNES version is still a work in progress...

| And I must admit, I actually had a rather special reason why I made Secret of Mana as one of the pre-airing gaming achievements, for my recent celebration. Remember I told you I named the hero Raul and the girl Julia, which resulted in certain inevitable dialogue in the game? I wanted to photograph every moment when that dialogue happens, and submit it for the Street Fighter movie 30th anniversary - and I posted them on Facebook, including that yes I have told dear :jay: about them. A number of Facebookers got it right away, one of them even saying it was 'brilliant'! | |

| also, there may be good news, for those of you worried about the 'mistake' over my Street Fighter badges! The Lego shop found them, and ordered them for me - I think we can expect them to arrive just before Easter, if I can buy them?
The shop also ordered me another Street Fighter blanket or towel (whatever one it is), with Vega and yes Cammy on it - the only Damme suitable towel I have is one with the Brazilian flag on it, so if it is a towel then it will certainly do. I turned down an offer for a Street Fighter X Tekken towel, naturally - I don't think many of us would buy that towel, no?
