One-Off Vol. 4: Double Draggin'

ooc: You all should consider having a yearly permanent drag talent show in Izuna

ooc: Save the show. I want to see who has the best costumes

Cammy lays on the sofa, flipping through channels, petting Sirloin, and sipping her tea. She hears her phone ring. It vibrates on her chest, and she looks at the number.

Cammy: Hello? Hey William, how are you?

Guile: Turn to channel four.

Cammy: What's going on?

TV: This is Mitch Hedgecock reporting live for Channel 4, Izuna News. We are live at the scene of Piledrivers, the nightclub here on the corner of 52nd and Quincy, where it appears a terrorist group has taken the building hostage. Now we cannot confirm if there are any fatalities, however;
we are receiving reports that there is a bomb inside the nightclub.

Cammy: My god...Mike's there!

TV: Inside the club was to be the site of Izuna's Next Top Drag Queen, followed by the charity auction for a local children's hospital. We are receiving reports that local hero Mike Stoselmo is among those trapped inside. Police are taping off the street to keep the local residents back, as we--

The reporter touches his earpiece.

TV: This just in, we received a video of the ones responsible for this act, the man in charge is going by the moniker, "
Director Muller."
This may be disturbing to some viewers, discretion is advised.

Director Muller: You can call me Director Muller. My colleagues and I will make this very simple. We have hostages, you have money. We have time and a bomb, you have thoughts and prayers. We want five billion dollars within 90 minutes, or some of Izuna's finest citizens are going to be nothing more than memories. Just to prove we are not bluffing, I have shot one person, do not make me shoot another one."


TV: Reporting live from the scene, Mitch Hedgecock, Izuna News, Channel 4.

Cammy moves Sirloin from off of her stomach.

Cammy: Mike might need help.

Guile: I'll pick you up, we'll discuss a strategy on the way.

Mike is sneaking around the club, trying to find the bomb. He goes into the third floor VIP lounge, and begins to look around.

Mike: Goddammit, where is it? Why is it always a bomb?

He is greeted by a troop of mercenaries. The one in charge slugs him in the face, he drops to his knees.

Merc: Because it works!

He tries to block kicks, but the numbers game gets the best of him. He's trying to avoid using his powers, due to his energy, and to avoid getting the attention of more mercenaries. One tries to kick him in his face. He catches the man's ankle and turns it until it snaps. He screams in pain. Mike tries to get up, until he is stricken with a tonfa to his back. The rest resort to this tactic. He gets into a fetal position, trying to cover up. The blows begin to slowly stop. He sees two drag queens, one in blue, one in red. They begin with easily take out the remaining six mercenaries. Mike tries to get to his feet, which he is aided by the two drag queens. He looks up.

Mike: Thanks, ladies. I--

Red: Who you calling lady? I thought you could handle this situation!

Blue: Jimmy, keep it down! We're here to help.

Mike: Wait a minute...Billy? Jimmy?

They take off their wigs and full bodied dresses, along with the pads in the chest.

Mike: The fuck you guys doing here?

Billy: These guys are from our city. We ran them out, but we followed them here. They almost blew up our dojo, and almost killed Marian!

Mike: Is she okay?

Jimmy: She's stable. She's gonna try to send backup, but that's not exactly a sure thing.

Mike: Well, Lee bros...we need to find that bomb. There's four floors. The ground floor is a no go. That Muller guy sees us, he could kill the hostages. We gotta find this bomb. I'll take the top floor, You guys take second and third. Be careful.

Jimmy: We got this.

Billy: Good luck, Mike.

Mike: Good luck, Dragons.

Unexpected allies were welcome. The Lee Brothers were known in their city as the Double Dragons, a play on the name of their dojo, Dragon Dojo. Mike heads up to floor four, while they split up. With bruised ribs, 74 minutes til explosion, and a room full of hostages, there was no time to waste.

ooc: I sure hope Mike and the bros can stop that bomb in time so the show can continue

The search came up empty handed. Nothing behind the bar, nothing behind a curtain, office, or anything. Mike found four mercenaries trying to wait it out and pour themselves drinks. One was dragged aside and knocked out. When his limp body fell, he knocked over a table holding a bottle of wine. The bottle was large enough to shatter, its sound is a crescendo, one that drew the attention of the guards on the floor below. They rush up the stairs.

Mercenary: He's upstairs, top floor! Top floor! All personnel to the top floor!

This is within earshot of Billy and Jimmy. They make their way upstairs. When they get up there, Mike is surrounded by men, each taking shots at him. They interlock their arms and leap into the air. What looks to be an assited hurricane kick, clears a path for the Lee brothers to get to Mike. They help him to his feet, and go back to back with each other.

Mike: Thanks, guys. Did you find the bomb?

Billy: No.

Jimmy: No.

Billy We heard the commotion and so we decided you might need some help.

Mike: Well...what are we waiting for? Let's give these assholes some help!

Jimmy: Yeeah!

Guile races over in a Jeep to Mike and Cammy's house. Cammy runs outside, throws her bag in the back, and hops in. What she doesn't know that something is stowed away in her bag. She has no clue what hell is about to be unleashed until the time is right. Guile briefs her of the plan he has to get the hostages out and find the location of the bomb.

ooc: If the bomb went off now it would disaster for Cammy
