| Gran spoke with my parents today... and if not a definite yes, they are certainly considering about spending Christmas abroad. If yes, then finally at least one less year, of my parents' disturbing lack of goodwill to all men if I'm upset at Christmas - and I can spend even my special month cat-sitting Jasper and Sapphire!
Dad also said to Gran, that he can do eBaying for me anywhere in the world - so yes, I can still do birthday eBaying, even if my parents do spend Christmas abroad. Cammy is still dominating, but yes I am considering possible options for Mai Shiranui.
******************
As I have mentioned, my parents have talked in the past, about spending Christmas Day diving into a hotel pool in the Canary Islands (dunno, though... if they'd go to a Christmas Day church service, let alone Midnight Mass). I rejected the idea, though - I prefer to spend Christmas at home; and like with when Donut Lord and my parents went on vacation without me, I'm sure Gran would have looked after me, while I was still legally not allowed to be left alone in the house.
Not to mention... there is also the sad matter, of that I find my parents' lack of goodwill to all men disturbing. That is, that I am sad to note, that they can especially show no mercy if I'm upset at Christmas - tenfold of were I upset, at any other time of the year when they'd nag me to smile or else; let alone, of whenever Donut Lord was upset at Christmas. "I mean, WTF??", I know - if only they would often (if not always) spend Christmas abroad, then such shit as the Mute For Coal Incident would never have happened!! ...Nor would the fighting here at the forum, which, itself, began in the wake of the events resulting in my creating the Street Fighter mandate - to this day, I still cannot shake off a chill down my spine, that that doomed Deadeye Month 2014 was just the opportunity my enemies needed, to strike...
Because of my parents' disturbing lack of goodwill, yes I feared their wrath, when my cat Raul's end-of-life care lasted even into and throughout Deadeye Month 2017 - forcing my parents to reassure me otherwise! Heck, the only reason why mom was in such a rush to do our tree that year... was because, in a first for my family, she was going to a sci-fi con on December 3 - but with my worries for Raul, she likely thought that doing the tree would help.
However, when Kunzite posted to say "If any pet is sick then don't delay the visit to the vet"... at that time, mom did not yet feel we were at that stage with Raul. She only accepted Kunzite's advice yes on the one-year anniversary of my revenge on Carie, because of Raul's more extreme cancer sign the night before - but as I suspected, yes sadly it was one-way. We welcomed little Yoshimoto into the family the next day.
However, and as indeed evidenced by the events resulting in the creation of the Street Fighter mandate... the only reason they still did not fulfil their wish, was because Gran is still alive (as was Grandpa Ken, until we lost him in Balrog Bashing Month 2016). I kept quiet about this for some time, even over any red-flag Christmases, such as when mom was rude about the white Greek dress.
But yes... I draw the line, that mom paused the TV while I was watching Kylie's Christmas concert, and Kylie was just minutes away from singing Your Disco Needs You - even threatening to pause while Kylie sings Your Disco Needs You, if she so had to! For me, that was the last straw, and it really eats me up inside - that's a really nasty thing, for anyone to do to a Street Fighter movie fan!
So, it only added to my wish to talk to my parents, about fulfilling their wish - but again still fearing their wrath, I felt I ought to get Gran to talk to them. As luck would have it, Christmas is just another day for Gran, which I'm guessing added to her agreement to my request - and so it's good-ish news, so to speak. Here's to hoping, that your leader can finally be safe at Christmas - if not get my revenge for what mom did!

That's true - and while we were still in the pandemic, yes even the law reassured us that we could celebrate Christmas, albeit legally watered-down. Such comments as about Santa having 'a travel corridor' with no need to self-isolate (elf-isolate?) upon return to the North Pole, and his elves being classed as 'key workers' were rather cute - and again, my enemies who grumbled about my genuine, selfless actions during the pandemic need to get off their high horses... But I meant safe for yours truly. Please remember, I have a catalogue of bad Christmases, which seems unfair what with how they say Christmas is, in Phoenix's own words, "The time to show kindness to all as well as presents" - so it's about time we put a stop to such a deadly catalogue, especially after mom was rude to Kylie! And if it means for mom and dad to at last fulfil their wish, of spending Christmas Day diving into a hotel pool in the Canary Islands... then so be it! They are at least considering fulfilling their wish, hence my asking if Christmas will be safe. They haven't said, though... whether or not they'll go to a Christmas Day church service, let alone a Midnight Mass. I think mom has once said, that maybe she should go to a church service on Christmas Day - but yes, the only thing preventing her from going, was obviously that she was prepping the Christmas dinner, and yes she couldn't risk letting it burn (particularly the foods she has to cook overnight, such as I think the turkey); and Gran and Grandpa Ken used to go to one, on their way to Christmas dinner with us... but it started to get too cold for them inside the church, so they stopped going. Midnight Mass would be too late for them, though. However... due to Santa's typical supposed UK arrival time according to the Santa trackers (the Norad, and now also the 'Where's Santa?' app on Sky), I usually have a televised Midnight Mass playing in the background. I check to see what's available, and I go from there!

Sadly that is how depressing life is Aye, that is true - but with Christmas being "The time to show kindness to all as well as presents", one cannot blame me for my efforts, no? Heck, if only Mel was genuine... I can only imagine what he'd have to say, about my Ken mainship on Street Fighter 2 (the one without the four bosses playable)! My revenge on Carie was over my family's first Christmas without Grandpa Ken, as such my dad thanked me very much for Ken's domination of what was obviously my first Special Champion Edition of the Street Fighter mandate... and I made my Ken mainship decision, thanks to a certain favour I granted to you, Raven, during my revenge... And don't forget that, just last Deadeye Month... Jay was in the same position with Miss Bardot, as I was with little Raul just six years earlier! Even as he put on a brave face, like when he and Byron attended that Q&A and screening for the Street Fighter movie... in my heart, I knew that being berated for a lack of Christmas cheer is as much the last thing he needed right now, as certain disgusting, completely untrue accusations against him. Worse still, Miss Bardot had been diagnosed with kidney failure, just like Raul's own successor Yoshimoto! Because Jay had to spend Deadeye Month looking after Miss Bardot, this only added to my checking on her - and Jay's replies indicated, that he was very thankful for my doing so. He mentioned that, yes, Miss Bardot was on the special kidney failure diet, just like Yoshimoto was - however, he didn't say whether or not she was allowed the occasional chicken treat (Yoshimoto's new owner gave him a chicken treat here and there, and he even jumped in the fridge to get at the chicken)...

Especially when he brings gifts Well yes Rainbow Princess and Phoenix, again when I created the Street Fighter mandate... I figured youse would all ask, about how Santa Claude would fit in - even more so, because his first visit since I created the Street Fighter mandate would mean my revenge on Carie. So, I was more than willing to prepare distinguishments in such a case, such as the 'Special Champion Edition' terminology -yes, named for Street Fighter 2 Special Champion Edition- for all Street Fighter mandates when Santa Claude visits. So yes, Santa Claude does bring gifts!

Indeed. What a heartless witch, ruining Christmas like that! That's another reason in favour of making sure Christmas is safe for me (if not for others, as well), no? Now, I know what you'll ask! No promises, if Charlie will get a mention for the Street Fighter mandate - if anything, then it'll be most likely if (and it's a very big IF) I get either or both of the first two Street Fighter Alpha games. However, yes there is the point of the Blanka/Charlie plot in the movie - so I'm guessing, that's one of the plus points in favour of your own Santa Claude prayers?

How true! Carie is one of many peeps, who'd be very high up on the Naughty List - have some people no shame?? Also, it turns out it was only my dad who talked about spending Christmas in the Canary Islands - though still, my parents will give it some thought, if not go this year. They are considering jetting off in November - but yeah, I know what youse are all thinking: "Why go in November, when you can go at Christmas?"

I still do that - I note that, each year, one of my grocery shopping jaunts may be close to (and in some rare cases, after) Christmas. If there's any last-minute stuff I like, maybe I'll go for it - hopefully, I can get those Mario Gold Coin bath bombs again this year... But don't just pick out any old presents and all, when you go - would it help, to consider what peeps like? We've all seen that 'Kitten Kalendar' Simpsons clip, for one... But I still like to get things sorted ASAP, including the few presents I have to buy. If Santa Claude visits, I need to be ready for it!
