The Street Fighter mandate

It may only be summer... but will our returning members continue to support the Street Fighter mandate?

If yes... then obviously all gifts must be Vega-friendly and Jay-friendly, and follow the forum's 'no NSFW' rule - among other things, I may want to use them as Facebook and/or laptop bling, and (if the forum will let me) an avatar. If anyone wishes to get Zane, Kunzite et al to Email me any gifts (I respect your wish, if you choose not to Email me yourself)... then by all means!


And of course, until my next Santa Claude visit... I must have at least one Cammy item!

For anyone who is not aware of the Street Fighter mandate, as the name implies I must now get Street Fighter merchandise in my special month. This is in revenge against another of my bad Christmases, in particular a rather unpleasant New Year's resolution, as detailed in one of my articles on the old site - and I wouldn't be surprised, if any of you pledge your support because all the nasty fighting here began in the wake of the misfortune, which resulted in my creation of the Street Fighter mandate. Could that doomed Deadeye Month have been just the opportunity they needed, to strike (i.e. because the misfortune, and of course the fighting, was all very upsetting for me... and some -if not all- obviously got a real kick, out of seeing me so upset and distressed )??

Should I ever decide, that any of the fighters 'must' get a mention for any years' Street Fighter mandates... then I will be sure to tell you, so please consider them when preparing your gifts to I.


Not to mention, when I created the Street Fighter mandate in the first place... I knew you'd also expect me to prepare distinguishments, for whenever Santa Claude comes to town - not least, as my first chance to bask in the glory of a Special Champion Edition of the Street Fighter mandate would, indeed, mean my revenge on Carie! I'll admit, I initially experienced difficulty in finding suitable Christmas decorations - those Capcom Christmas figurines on eBay are a little pricey, for one LOL

But hands up everyone, who plays Christmas music while decking the halls! It was also in the same year when I created the Street Fighter mandate... when Kylie Minogue released her Christmas album! I would since have the standard edition for my 31st birthday, and the deluxe edition come the 2016 Ber Months - but not the Snow Queen Edition, because of her cover of Wonderful Christmastime by McFartney and the Wings (an ironic choice, I know, after the evil DJ who bullied me when I was 20!). But, I'd be open to if dad or someone could download me all of Kylie's Christmas songs bar that one, assuming my PS2 (which I use for music and DVDs, as well as games) will let me use any blank(a!) recorded CDs; and I am looking for the LP record of her Christmas album, for Damme use when I deck my parents' halls (if dad dusts off the old record player, that is!).

To mark the release of her Christmas album, Kylie hosted a live televised Christmas concert (this was the one which mom defaced) right here in the UK, in Deadeye Month 2015. I simply watched it, and went with the flow - but because she performed Your Disco Needs You at both of her Christmas concerts (she hosted a second one, during my revenge on Carie), for me that cements about her Christmas album being exclusive to Santa Claude!

Thus, I take advantage of the Christmas music channels on TV, and one or two Christmas tunes on the radio: when I first see on TV the video for any of Kylie's Christmas tunes, I feel 'rehearsals' have 'officially' begun, as we prepare for just in case Santa Claude visits. I do hear them on the radio - but I'm more likely to first see the videos on TV...


Jay himself supports the Street Fighter mandate, very visibly even more so whenever Santa Claude visits, after I first told him about it during my cat Raul's end-of-life care. After I alerted mom, about Raul's episode at stupid o'clock in the morning on December 1 2017 (not too long after I made that year's Deadeye Month post, in fact)... it was still too early to go shopping, to start my own personal share of the Street Fighter mandate. So, to pass the time... I decided to tell Jay about the Street Fighter mandate, and ask if he would like to support it. He may be a busy man, but you never know!

I arrived home from shopping, only to find Jay had replied favourably! He told me he still had the figures (which he finally sent to me, along with a greetings card with a cat on it, six years ago last month), as well as about an interview he was booked in for Deadeye Month 2018; and he took interest in the Ryu rice bowl (hands up everyone, who fell for the rice bowl craze at the time!) and Zangief VS E Honda heat-changing mug I bought while out shopping.


Prayers to Santa Claude 'officially' begin on November 13, the birthday of my past cat Yoshimoto (who was Raul's successor). If indeed Santa Claude is coming to town... then due to the typical workings of the online TV listings, we can expect an announcement around or after that time.


In turn, Jasmine (who is Yoshimoto's successor, hence her status as Raul the 3rd!) has fur-ther influenced my verdict, on some of the Christmas decorations exclusive to Santa Claude - i.e. because of the Capcom-Disney collaborations, as well as that some of the Street Fighter movie cast have Disney roles. Again, I realise a certain Square-Enix fan will give his blessings on this, especially as I gave the first two Kingdom Hearts games another chance also because of Jasmine.

I had actually started collecting Disney-themed Christmas ornaments, in time for my 2019 Santa Claude visit - but Princess Jasmine was not on the priority list, at that time (hey - I still needed to do my food shopping, so I prioritised the ornaments I wanted most). Naturally, the character's priority status has changed, as of 2021!

Yes, other franchises which Capcom have made games about such as, say, Marvel Comics would also qualify! On my first Disney ornament hunt, since we welcomed Jasmine into the family... the supermarket which sold them also had Marvel ornaments in stock, which yes got me thinking about Capcom's Marvel games... so, well, why not right?

That's true... but unfortunately I have a catalogue of them, yes including when I was hit with the Mute For Coal Incident, and that which resulted in Soma's brief stint as my Facebook bodyguard.

But this one was really bad - and again, to add insult to injury, the fighting here began in the wake of that doomed Deadeye Month. It pushed me to the point of creating the Street Fighter mandate... as well as how I also feel, that the end-of-life care for my cat Raul just three years later means, I had sadly so soon gained an opportunity to set the example I wanted to over that doomed Deadeye Month...


And I'll never spend Christmas with the family again, after mom's eventual blasphemy to Kylie Minogue! It's safer that I spend Christmas at home...

Been there, done that too - and that trouble was partly due to Donut Lord, as well as a number of my bullies (some of whom thankfully did get their just desserts...); and yes, I already slowly began to step up because of the Mute For Coal Incident.

But at that point, even with the Mute For Coal Incident, I could only simply pray for a better Christmas next year - and in some cases my prayers were answered, others it was not. Then came the events resulting in the creation of the Street Fighter mandate... oh dear...

Which is basically a point, as to why it's best for me to spend Christmas at home. Last year, I had to turn down mom's invite to go over on Christmas Eve - yes, especially with it being the Mute For Coal Incident anniversary...

And of course, it makes my cats happy too - they're part of the family as well, don't forget


I do, however, fear about some people even in real life 'judging' me for my decision. But it's not their decision to make, now is it?

And yes folks, the Spanish is still the mascot of the Street Fighter mandate! I only simply wanted to set a better example, particularly at that time with the worries for Grandpa Ken (the Spanish was a present, for my last Christmas with Grandpa Ken); and I would do part of that, with my prototype for the Street Fighter mandate, in revenge against and in memorial of that doomed Deadeye Month - but, well, wow...

His arrival actually couldn't have been better-timed, either - that is, because of that Sailor Moon game recommended to me, and my recommendation to play as our favourite fire-wielding princess Sailor Mars (it's Inners-only, and one gesture by Kunzite encouraged me to main Sailor Uranus). On the Bucky O'Hare NES game, is imprisoned on the fiery Red Planet, so in my opinion his element would be fire.

...But nobody told me that the Kunzite character wears a white cape! Cue the inevitable, here at the Realm...


But I have been pondering, on if Jasmine should have some form of mascot status as well? That is, because of her fur-ther influencing my collecting Disney-themed Christmas ornaments, purrticularly for if Santa Claude visits - most of all, that I have umpteen Princess Jasmine ornaments because of her, and the Aladdin SNES game (which I named Jasmine for) being part of the Capcom-Disney collab.

If a certain Square-Enix fan returns, don't be too surprised if he says yes! On account of Princess Jasmine's inclusion in the Kingdom Hearts franchise, of course, along with such other favourites as Hercules and Mulan...

I have also given Jay my consent, to pass on my address to Peter Navy Tuiasosopo (the E Honda actor) in case he wants to send me a signed photo or something. With Peter having taken notice of yours truly, including that he sounded pretty keen on Kylie Minogue's Christmas album... you never know!


If it's a yes, then please do consider any E Honda pics for the Street Fighter mandate (if not this year, then any other year since?). My favourite classic colour option for him in the old games, is his orange/yellow robe with the green face paint.

As for gifts, I looked at some E Honda pin badges on eBay - those look like options for my birthday shopping, if not from my parents. Needs must, I'll see if there is a Lego E Honda figurine at the Lego shop... and, perhaps, if they can do the Lego baubles again...


And yes, we cannot rule out the possibility, of E Honda assisting Cammy in leading my revenge against mom's blasphemy to Kylie! While certain family reasons put me on a temporary Ken Masters binge, including to affect the Street Fighter mandate... as was indeed the case, I could not rule out Ken possibly leading my revenge on Carie; as well as that similar family reasons caused Ken to retake his spotlight for 2019 - and even then, we ended up limited to Kylie's Christmas album.

Special Champion Editions obviously guaran-tree a festive mention, for all fighters in the movie (yes, unfortunately including Balrog) - but again, there's no guaran-tree of Santa Claude visiting. Since creating the Street Fighter mandate, I have had three Special Champion Editions (in 2016 to early Vega Month 2017, with my revenge on Carie; then 2019; and most recently 2020).

Another fighter we may need to consider for this year's Street Fighter mandate, is M Bison. I mean, come on - who else here was thrilled about seeing him on that horse in Street Fighter 6, especially with the horse being a Raul Julia tribute?

If nothing else... then it's good news, for anyone delighted about Gran getting me the Game Boy version of Street Fighter 2. The game is unboxed, so I put it in the box for my Cammy statue - Cammy, M Bison and even our dear Vega are among the fighters featured on the box artwork, so yes this also covers us for Cammy still having to dominate the Street Fighter mandate


And yes... all I can say for now, is expect the horse to make a special appearance in the Narration!
