I'm still looking for Donkey Kong Country 3, but I do have the first two on the cards after having those for my recent airings. My favourite level on Donkey Kong Country 2 is Castle Crush.

Funny you should mention both Aladdin and The Lion King - one of my past cats was named Simba (spring 1996 - ?; missing since Airing Month 1997)! He was the second tabby in my family, and it was Donut Lord (who, yes, was a fan of The Lion King) who chose him and named him Simba...

And wasn't it Raul Julia, who announced about an award going for Aladdin...?


A number of classic and modern Disney movies are featured in the Kingdom Hearts franchise, Aladdin being one of them. I was delighted about Mulan and Hercules being on the list - but I was very pleasantly surprised, about Tron, Steamboat Willie and Pirates of the Caribbean when I first had Kingdom Hearts 2...

But I can say, I will see about including a few Game Boy games for future airing celebration! I did buy a Game Boy Game Genie a few months or maybe a year or so ago, and this week I've at last done my research and found that, yes, there are European-region codes for some Game Boy games - and, thankfully, the device fits in my Game Boy Advance SP (I have the gold Zelda one, before anyone asks), so it's good news for any future airings!

Well actually, on some games with a 'custom character' option... I have palette-swapped a custom Vega and made him like Jay. Complete with the red matador trousers and blue sash, as he wears for his cage fight scene - the suit he wears later on in the movie is nice, but his first outfit won the vote for custom option 0:-)

And while I briefly had a Switch (which I only had, as I helped my ex-sister-in-law Tango with her own Switch stuff - but as well as her turning out nasty, my Switch died on me...), yes on Ultra Street Fighter 2 I did come up with a Jay palette-swap for Vega...

But if Phoenix does convince Soma to return, again no doubt he'd likely twist my arm for the few Konami games I have on the cards, if not CastleVania itself - as well as that he'd be proud, of the CastleVania items I bought in 2020 to use as Halloween decorations (well, obviously!).

I also still need to tell Soma about my kitty Jasmine, and especially about mom's blasphemy to Kylie. I know he'd be very sorry to hear about Yoshimoto (of whom Jasmine is successor) - and I'm sure I'm not the only one here, who wouldn't be surprised if Soma's dear brother Sephiroth dotes on Jasmine, should he return as well; and he'd be horrified to hear about mom's blasphemy, since we all know so 'Damme' well why Kylie is so dear to us.
