Mike sits in an interrogation room. Nervous, his leg bounces as Cammy leans on the table and asks Mike questions.

Cammy: How do you know Ryu?

Mike: I grew with him, and Ken. They were like my older brothers.

Cammy: Ken? Ken Masters? You know him too?

Mike: Is that a crime or something?

Cammy: It should be, sometimes. How did you get here?

Mike: You wouldn't believe me...

Cammy: Try me, love.

Mike tells her his story of how he ended up back from the dead on Earth. She's silent, hanging onto his every word.

Mike: That's how I ended up here.

Cammy nods.

Mike: You don't believe me don't you? Of course you don't. You probably had a family that grew with you. Parents, siblings, didn't have to change schools every so often, summer jobs. I bet you had all of that. I didn't have that.

Cammy: I beg to differ.

Mike: The only family apart from Ryu and Ken I just found out died. I have nothing. Except having a strange headache from when those goons were beating on me...something happened to me back there. My skin was like boiling red, my vision...

Cammy: You did take some nasty licks. Besides, you had more than I did. My first memory is waking up with my Delta Red mates, and being informed I was a Doll.

Mike: A doll?

Cammy: I was a shell. For a man. A madman who had an army of us as assassins. Should anything had happen to him, his soul was to be transferred to one of us. No mind of our own. Like watching a movie, we couldn't control our actions.

Mike: What?

Cammy: I was told of all the horrible things I had done. I couldn't deal with what I had done under Bison's control. My only life is of this team.

Mike: I think we have a lot in common. We have a history of pain.

Cammy sits down next to him.

Mike: I've never felt so alone.

Cammy places her hand on top of Mike's.

Cammy: Well...you're not alone anymore.

Mike: You're right, I have you.

Cammy is taken aback by his reply.

Mike: I meant you guys, I have you guys.

Cammy clears her throat and slightly smiles.

Cammy: Colonel has your wallet, we found your address, I'd--We'd be more than happy to take you home.

Mike: Is Ryu gonna be okay?

Cammy: He's gonna hang here to talk to us about what we're up against. For some reason, Ken is MIA. Not even his wife knows where he is.

Mike: Wife? He married Eliza?

Cammy: Yes.

Mike: So much to catch up on...

Cammy places her hand on his knee.

Cammy: It's gonna be okay. Should you need anything...

She writes out her name and number on a piece of paper.

Cammy: Call me.

Mike puts the paper in his pocket. He looks deep into her blue eyes.

Mike: Has anyone ever told you how amazing your eyes are?

Cammy slightly blushes.

Cammy: Thank you. Come now. I'll arrange to have you taken to your home.

Far away, a large control room. Surveilance footage is being shown to a man sitting in a large leather rolling chair. He wears a red military like uniform with matching captain's hat. His shoulders, wrists, and shins are clad with armor. His eyes have no pupils, his grin shows as he sees on the monitors the attacks from earlier.

Bison: I cannot believe my men couldn't procure me Ryu...wait...that boy...his power...I can feel it...it's not of this world...it's wild. It's untamed. The fires of Hell itself run through his veins...I want it.

His fist clenches. He notifies a man through another screen.

Bison: Commander!

Commander: Yes, my lord?

Bison: Find out who that was with Ryu in that park. Tell me everything you can about him. Who he is, where he came from, and how he ended up with the prime target. Set up another attack with all remaining soldiers in the area. I have a feeling this one needs my utmost and personal attention...

Mike is driven back to the address on his ID. 421 Cimmaron Trail. He waves off the guard, who drives off. He enters the home. His head is flooded with memories of the past. Gouken. Training in the backyard. What little he could remember as far as trivial moments. A mishmash of what he knew and remembered. It was all too much for him. He sits on the couch and puts his head in his hands and starts crying. All the things he missed. His struggles with faith. What led him to Hell and Valconia. His phone chirps. He looks down and sees a text message. He reads it.

Should you need anything, let me know. Despite the circumstances, it was nice to meet you. I can tell you have a good heart. Don't let your past rule your future."

He smiles a bit. He puts his phone down and lies down on the sofa. He closes his eyes, tries to breathe, and slowly drifts off to sleep.

ooc: Cammy and Mike have so much to relate to. No wonder they get along so well
