Dog days of summer. I'll be honest, I could use some days that aren't 110 degrees.
My side job, as you guys know, is a bar. Part bar, part arcade. You pay to get in, but once you pay to get in, every game is free to play. We have older games, newer games, console games set up like the Switch, Xbox One, and PS4. The bar has drinks named after characters, like Ryu is actually a kamikaze, a Ninja Turtle is a Liquid Marijuana, a Kirby is a Pink Starburst shot, etc.
My favorite drink? It's a shot, but can be bigger. Some places it's called a Banana Sandwich, others Monkey's Lunch. Our bar, we call it the Donkey Kong. It's one part Kaluha, one part banana liqueur, and one part Bailey's. Layer them, or put it in a shaker with some ice. Tastes like banana bread.
Anyway, my job is pretty simple. I share hosting duties with my partner for karaoke night every Friday. Whenever I work weekends, he's there, and the week after, I host. I talk shit, and play hits. I get the crowd involved, and get them to sing their favorite songs.
I'm still playing in the Battle Hub of Street Fighter 6. Who else is playing online?
Like many people, I wanna choke my boss at my primary job. He has no clue what he's doing.
Anyone see any good movies lately? I finally saw The Flash movie, but I didn't see it for Flash. I saw it for the sole purpose of seeing Michael Keaton play Batman one more time. Some people will say Christian Bale, or Ben Affleck, but my opinion? Michael Keaton is #1. End of story.
So glad Silent Hill is coming back. The new movie is seemingly going to be heavily based on Silent Hill 2. I'm all for it. I can't play that game anymore. It depresses me.
I know most of you can get down on some sushi. What's everyone's favorite roll? Are you a tame flavor fan like the California roll? Or do you like some spice?
When I went home to NJ, I linked up with some friends, and we went across the state to collectible shops to find retro figures, games, vinyl records, and some other stuff. $500 later, I had to buy a second suitcase to bring it all home. Go figure.
I'm running out of room for this sort of thing. I need an actual house.
