Awwww! Well, remember the Street Fighter movie was made and released in 1994, so 'twere after then when one can expect the chances of being born during an airing.


Thing is, if one 'must' be born via C-section (like my niece was)... then it's just as well, if it's an airing day and/or a final countdown!

Still, especially keep an eye on both mother and child, until a day or so after the airings. Even if the mom is evil (in which case, I'd just carry out any needed restraints or the like, including to put her in a medically-induced coma if that's safe enough), I just know that the "

hate trend would have a field day, should one fail to meet this fragile security demand...

More new statues and magazines are on the way! Yes, as planned I'm getting Decapre, and I've also decided to get Ken and Ryu (who I was considering, for my Easter present from Gran).

For those of you who may have Fanhome's Street Fighter magazine and statue collection, you will know that each subscription meant more than one character at a time - including that, if you had the first subscription (which was Ryu and Ken), you would also get a bonus poster. I can tell you, that yes the poster is included with my upcoming Ryu and Ken - I couldn't say no!



I did actually consider Guy, because he's my main on the original Final Fight (though I do happily settle for Cody, on the non-Guy versions) - but I decided sod Guy, I can wait and see if he turns up in the shops. Unfortunately, neither Maki (my Final Fight 2 main) nor Lucia (my Final Fight 3 main) did not make it to the statue and magazine collection, despite their making it to the Street Fighter circuit.

update: I will see after all, about getting the Guy statue and magazine. I guess he'll have to do - also in case anyone suggests I get any of the Final Fight lot, no I don't think I can see the Rolento statue taking any pride of place...


Also, I'm going to have to bash Balrog today - I don't think I need to say why, but yes 'until further notice' I'll have to let Cammy do the honours. Do some peeps even realise, how much trouble that quote by Balrog has caused?!?

Thank you Mod Soul, I can also tell you that the Guy and Decapre statues and magazines have arrived.


Gran is still keen on getting me a Street Fighter statue and magazine as an Easter present, unless anything else catches my eye in the meantime - if it's a yes, we're leaning toward Laura (from Street Fighter 5), because hers and Sean's mom has the same name as Gran! As if my having a grandpa named Ken isn't enough, I know LOL

And in case anyone suggests Sean, well he's not on the priority list, but yes I'll look for him in the shops.


Speaking of Ken, the Alpha Ken statue (which I'm having for my big four-oh) doesn't have his face painted on - so unless mom decides to paint it for me, I may get creative, and have him wear a blindfold (e.g. as punishment for his 'behaviour' in Street Fighter II V). Any ideas?

Thank you Lemmy, and in fact I may have good news: the Lego shop has ordered me a new lanyard, to replace the missing one. I have paid for it, and I will collect it as soon as I can after it arrives.

They have also ordered in keyrings designed like Ryu, Ken and Zangief, I will talk with Gran before I buy these - just in case, knowing her, she may want to get me the Ken keyring for my Easter present (and that would rule out our consideration, regarding the Laura statue)...

update: Gran does want to get me all three keyrings, for my Easter present. We're holding off on the eBaying for a while, as I have eBayed for the published strategy guides for the first two Kingdom Hearts games (cue Sephiroth praising me!)... and yes, the Ken keyring was part of the temptation for Gran.


I have also told mom, that dad should point the finger at her for this latest eBaying - that is, because of the Disney binge resulting from my kitty Jasmine

Please remember, though, my, shall we say... blind rage, at the time... was because I was still in great pain, over the events resulting in my creation of the Street Fighter mandate (see my article 'Jay Tavare's genuine kindness'). Oh, if not for that doomed Deadeye Month, right...?


But when it comes to my birthday eBaying, yes another reason in favour of the Street Fighter mandate affecting that, is just in case any of the items still arrive in the respective Deadeye Month/Spanish Deadeye Month - which some of them indeed have. After mom's blasphemy to Kylie, one of my choice items -namely, the Street Fighter Legends: Cammy hardback- arrived on the day after my birthday. It was obvious, that Raul Julia wanted to step in and help - and I don't just say so, because I had airings imminent in the subsequent Vega Month!

I have actually been debating, on swapping February's 'Ken Month' status for 'Mod Soul Month' - I am open to discussion on this.


I think the main reason why we still kept February as Ken Month, is primarily because of the worries for Grandpa Ken (whose birthday, before you ask, was in Balrog Bashing Month - in fact it was the Resident Evil 2 day, September 29). Again, I don't like how my parents handled Grandpa Ken initially being taken ill;
and I won't rule out the possibility, of it being a trap to purposely cause such things as my blind rage - friend and even foe alike should know, I would have handled it far better! In my trademark example, a Ken binge was inevitable - so when I had that airing celebration when Mod Soul joined us, it seemed Raul Julia was once again watching over me, in this case including to do his part for the Ken binge 0:-)

However... would the point of that dirty love rat Mel (himself a Ken fan) be a fly in the ointment...?

However, a gamer cafe is opening in my town on Saturday, and customers can already get early access to the menu and all while they set everything up. If at all possible, I may check it out tomorrow - and yes, I may donate a few drinks coasters (but not my Capcom and Kylie ones, and any others I feel are precious), as well as to see if I can negotiate any deals for airing celebration (in which I may take my special coasters, anyway)...
