If anyone might want to look into more anti-mute stuff in games, and share good luck ideas of your own... then yes, please do. Share your favourites, and we can praise them if not use them ourselves.

The white cape was the item that caught my eye the most, as I prepared my revenge against the Mute Incident. One can arguably agree, that my trademark example is also legally the right thing - other options could spell t-r-o-u-b-l-e, y'know? So, because of Donut Lord's own role in the Mute Incident, I felt compelled to research anti-mute gear in games - doubly so, due to my overall preference for magical attacks (which mute prevents) as opposed to physical...

...And out of my findings, I took a particular liking to the white cape. Thus, my favourite colour was established.


I think the funniest anti-mute item was -I kid you not- mouthwash, the anti-mute curative item in Persona 4 (yes Slasher, the one with that scene you once talked about)! I can see the thinking there, but it's still very funny don't you think?

And my dressing for the airings themselves is one thing, such as make-up... but imagine my surprise, about lipstick being the anti-mute accessory in Parasite Eve 2 (another Square classic)! I thus subsequently maxed out my equipment slots, and the lipstick became highest priority in my equipment choices - even after I unlocked lipstick on the shop menu for new game plus purposes, I still sometimes do that shooting gallery level 4, which if passed earns you a tube of lipstick.

But there's also good news for us Vega fans: in Final Fantasy 12, the anti-mute accessory is a Rose Corsage! No, I don't have any of these in real life... but a number of my Vega figures hold roses, and Jay himself sends me rose emojis on Facebook especially whenever I have airings, yes in the tradition that Vega would present one to his fair lady.
