An airing has also been booked for May 26! As such, I will have to go to town early to do my shopping the day before, so I can arrive home well in time for the final countdown - otherwise, I'll see about doing my shopping on the day after the airing... we'll see...

I will have to wear the red airing dress, for my airings - an airing has also been booked for May 27, which just happens to be Gran and the late Grandpa Ken's wedding anniversary!

I have thus spoken with Gran, she feels that yes I ought to wear the red airing dress for my airings. She accepts my gesture, about wearing that dress for any Ken-related reasons - including, of course, precisely why dad volunteered to carry out the Rainbow Bridge security for my cat Mel...


Gran has also come to the rescue, about my shopping on the 25th - my uncle will pick me up, after he finishes his Welsh class. She too understands, that shopping too long risks missing the final countdown, so she's more than willing to help - which is just as well really, with me now also having an airing on her wedding anniversary!

One of the minimart chains over here is doing a special week on Asian (particularly Chinese, Japanese and Thai) food until next Wednesday, so my dad bought me a pack of dragon fruit ice lollies (which class as Chinese) today - omg, they're gorgeous!

They may sell X foods of any other country on Y-themed week, for example they may have some Spanish foods on an American week or vice versa - but there's no guarantee about what, so I dunno if they'll have the dragon fruit ice lollies in stock when I do my shopping on Thursday. Dad was sympathetic to my plight, so I twisted his arm to get me a pack of the dragon fruit ice lollies today - but if they're in stock next Thursday, I'll certainly get another pack. I might as well while I still Damme well can, right?
