Airings are definitely something special

Absolutely!

Now, with my recently having bought a copy of good old CastleVania... I know what some of you might be thinking (thin-king, I know...)! Because the last level of CastleVania Bloodlines takes place in England, I realise there may be suggestions for me to look for a copy of that game, and potentially reserve that for if, indeed, the coronation falls during an airing celebration - doubly so, because my choice player character Eric happens to be Spanish and even looks like Vega.

Well, there's no guarantee, but I'll certainly keep my eyes peeled! I always let Lady Luck roll the dice, as to what games I find whenever I go shopping...

There is royalty in every good game. Good thin-king. That's a smart quote. I like it!

I have a notoriety for puns, thanks to my late, great teacher Mr Davies (the one who would proudly declare "
The Righteous Indignation!"
). He was the one really good teacher I had, and omg he was the king of puns - so I picked up that habit from him LOL

Well yes, as well as fighting dear old Count Dracula (often referred to as the 'Prince of Darkness') himself, in the CastleVania franchise... at the end of Bloodlines, you also fight his niece Countess Bartley, who has a castle here in England.

And I think our dear Vega is himself royalty - his classic Street Fighter profile states he is "
Of noble blood"
, and in Street Fighter II V he is titled as the 'Prince of Bullfighting'... so, well, 'nuff said!

Aye, we all know games like Resident Evil are much creepier - but I can see where they're coming from, I mean even mom said "
It's the time of year for CastleVania"
, when I bought Super CastleVania 4 over the 2021 Halloween weekend. We're now even considering getting a Grim Reaper ornament, if we can find one good enough...

Speaking of the Grim Reaper... if of course we lose someone on an airing day, or within a final countdown, then may I suggest also venting your anger on the Grim Reaper (i.e. as he's the physical embodiment of death)? If not CastleVania, then any game featuring the Grim Reaper as an enemy - beat the crap out of him, for an obvious breach of the Rainbow Bridge airing security! As I feared, the "
Street Fighter is so bad, it killed Raul Julia"
hate trend mocked Dennis Hopper, for him passing away on an airing day in 2010 - so, well, I just cannot afford to take any chances, y'know?

Luckily for the Grim Reaper... since I created the Rainbow Bridge security (i.e. because of Dennis Hopper), my family has a clean sweep in carrying it out. That's a few less whippings for him, then!

*********************

And because the coronation is, in fact, taking place on the two-year anniversary of when we surrendered my poor kitty Yoshimoto... will you guys remember to keep my kitty in your prayers, at the time?

True, though that may be tricky for coulrophobes VS certain movies...
