Oh, did you watch the show as well? As well as for the obvious fun and all, my dad
loves motorbikes - he even bought Donut Lord's Kawasaki Ninja motorbike, which does kind of resemble Vinnie's bike from the show;
and it turns out, Grandpa Ken loved motorbikes as well.
And yes, the Biker Mice SNES game has previously been a pre-airing gaming achievement - and before you ask, I completed it as Vinnie. I did consider Limburger, because of his anti-gravity vehicle - but after experimentation (no pun intended, Karbunkle fans), I found Vinnie was the best to use.
But as for the DS Biker Mice game, I'll have to get an American import of that - there are no cheat codes for the UK version...
I actually heard of the 2006 Biker Mice cartoon, during my only airing celebration that year. On one shopping trip with Gran, I called in a toy store... and they had Biker Mice figures in stock! I almost instantly realised, it must be a new series... so we just couldn't say no: I picked some of the figures for now, as airing gifts;
and Gran agreed to get me one for Christmas that year.
Of course, we looked into the new cartoon - I did read the more modern details, like about the Catatonians and new evil businessman figure Ronaldo Rump;
but I promised Gran I would let her know, if Limburger et al are back. So when I watched episode 6 (the one where Karbunkle and Limburger return, along with the Pit Boss)... I phoned Gran right away!
Now, I know what you are thinking! Yes, I do realise we have a few motorcyclists on the Street Fighter circuit, and yes Akira joining the Street Fighter circuit earned her her spot as my Rival Schools main;
as well as Ken riding a motorbike in Street Fighter II V - in my fics, he even escorts me to my wedding with Vega
on that motorbike.
But were any of our Street Fighter motorcyclists to receive a mention, for this year's Street Fighter mandate... then
Ken is the most likely of the lot, so I'm sure Gran and I could concoct something. Rufus and/or Juri are a very distant second, again most likely depending on if (and it's a very big IF) I get any of Udon's Street Fighter works;
and the most likely reason why Akira may get a festive mention, is if I complete Rival Schools for any airings in the subsequent Vega Month (i.e. if I get an announcement in a plain old Deadeye Month, for airings in the following Vega Month), if not for Santa Claude.
