What's up!?

My bad for being away so long. Things just seem to pile up. Between working more hours than I should, Texas Frightmare Weekend, and life in general, I got my shift at work changed. I'm back on the graveyard shift. Fine by me. Suits my lifestyle.

Anyway...Texas Frightmare Weekend for those who don't know, is a three day convention celebrating horror movies, and the gothic lifestyle. It's usually chockful of celebrities on hand to sign autographs and pictures, along with professional photo ops. It has your usual convention fare, panels, screenings, cosplayers, etc.

Robert Englund (Freddy Krueger) is always such a nice guy whenever we meet him. He's $120 a signature, but he is a chatterbox. Totally worth it.

This year, they had actors from the original Scream movie. Skeet Ulrich who played Billy, Jamie Kennedy who played Randy (and B-Rad from Malibu's Most Wanted), Matthew Lillard who played Stu (and Shaggy from Scooby-Doo since 2002 in film and animation), and of course, Neve Campbell who has been playing Sidney Prescott since the first film. We got to meet all four, and they truly love their fans. It shows in the interactions.

Bill Moseley, who is known for playing Otis in Rob Zombie's movies House Of 1000 Corpses, The Devil's Rejects, and 3 From Hell, and Chop Top from Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 was there. Really nice guy.

Lance Henriksen, who is known for Bishop in the Alien movies, was there. Father Time really has beaten him down at age 81.

Carl Weathers, who is mostly known for playing Apollo Creed in the Rocky films, is a really engaging man. Really nice guy. He was $80 for a signature, but fuck it. Got my Rocky DVD signed.

My wife and I met multiple people from the original 1974 Texas Chain Saw Massacre. Nice guys.

Sounds like so much fun with lots to see. Really good to see conventions and everything back to tomorrow.

Difficult to work the night shift unless you are a night owl. Wish I could enjoy a nice weekend like that but there are no good conventions where I live

Nice! It was awesome you get to meet all the classic horror, and action actors of the 80s and 90s. I can imagine taking my 2 year nephew to that he would have had a fit and start screaming, but he been saying "
zombie"
and impersonating a zombie walk all day today lmao

Must have been a really good event for the actors too to meet their fans that they've brought terror and entertainment to

Sorry I haven't been active. My primary job has me on mandatory overtime, and I just got my 2nd job back. So when I'm not doing my part in making plane engine parts, I'm hosting at the hottest bar in the city the best karaoke show in the city. My dance card is full, but I will do my best to stay active here.

Sorry guys. I'm STILL on mandatory overtime. It's so bad, I'm inactive from not just the karaoke job, but here as well. There isn't enough hours in the day for me. All I can say is I'm sorry. I miss posting for you guys. On top of all this, I've been dealing with issues with a wisdom tooth. I get it pulled August 8th, soonest it can happen. So I've been in 24/7 pain, taking Tylenol like they're M&
M's, and I'm burnt out.

I will make it up to Zane, and all of you guys. I promise.
