Besides, we still need to hold a proper memorial for little Yoshimoto! We were supposed to hold it last time, but mom's blasphemy toward Kylie Minogue still forced us to (fic-speaking) keep my kitty in the morgue.

And if you ask me nicely, you can be one of the six people to dress as penguins, and carry Yoshimoto into the water 0:-)

But providing all goes well and safe, please understand airings are like, let's say... a rite of passage, for any needed healing or memorials or whatever. And with Kylie being a part thereof, well 'nuff said!


And as detailed/implied in some of my articles, unfortunately a painful number of my bad experiences have sadly occurred at Christmas, if not in Deadeye Month (or at worst Spanish Deadeye Month) altogether... and that does tear at me. Indeed making the situation all the more painful for me, my own parents are, like, really stubborn and cold-blooded if I'm upset at Christmas, tenfold of were I upset at any other 'nag everyone to smile or else' situation throughout the year - WTF happened to Christmas being a time for 'goodwill to all men'?!?

At first, I would simply quietly hope for a better Christmas next year, and quietly repair the respective damage - but after the Mute For Coal Incident occurred, I realised about 'goodwill to all men' being another thing I take very, very seriously, to the point of my increased intolerance of anyone pissing me off in my special month. Christmas became a deciding factor -indeed, sadly a little too common on the negative side- whenever I was forced to implement any more of my famous rules, yes including the creation of the Street Fighter mandate just after I turned 30.


In this case, I have been forced to impose 'protected' status on Your Disco Needs You, to the point of it being like the National Anthem for airing celebration.

And just yesterday, when my niece Murphy was over and we were playing Wiggles songs for her (she's a fan of the Wiggles) on YouTube... inevitably, I chose their cover of Monkey Man https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xdsflmSu_0M , guest starring Kylie. Mom was like, "
I didn't know Kylie did a song with the Wiggles!"
- so I said "
Yes, so keep your finger off that pause button!"

That's very true. Perhaps I can get my friends in town to play a few Kylie tunes as well - good old Roy (bless him) would play a Kylie tune or two during my airing celebrations, including in the events we now celebrate as the Final Countdown Festival.

Confide In Me, and Put Yourself In My Place were actually the initial two Kylie tunes which Roy would play for me - yes, I think, including with when we confirmed The Final Countdown for airing celebration. Of course, we certainly eventually upgraded the song list, including Your Disco Needs You.
