As evidenced by my cat Mel (named after a Ken fan who used to visit here... but when my cat was 3, I learned his namesake is evil and has a me-hating harem and brats), if I so wish then yes I would name pets after fellow Realm members, like 'Kaspar' (after Kunzite's Italian name!) for a white male. I even considered the name 'Raven' for a female black kitty, since not too long before Raul took ill - but obviously, I certainly did have to consider the name soon after, including my saying to dad "
I'm still keen on 'Raven' for a black female"
, in our phone conversation when mom finally opted to vet Raul;
but as you know, the only kitty available at the time was little Yoshimoto.

But when my parents found Jasmine... with regard to mom's preference for me to give the kitty a princess name, then yes I suppose 'Haruka' would have qualified, because I had the kitty as an airing gift and thus she was mandated to have a Capcom name. There is a girl named Haruka in the first Okami game!

I dunno if it's a dangerous mutt, however it's one of the dogs whom the owners refuse to have castrated. They belong on It's Me or the Dog - a lot of dogs on that show are ordered to have their cojones removed...

Oh, and my neighbour's mom has to take the dog for walkies, since my neighbour can't be arsed and/or because he works. I saw her take the dog for walkies yet again today! If that's not another definition of an irresponsible dog owner, I don't know what is...

My family has always been cat people - they're very loving and cuddly animals, and you don't have to take them for walkies even if you get a self-isolation/Covid test message. And we've always chosen the cutest cats!

You've just raised another potential red flag there. I've heard stories about peeps selling kittens or puppies too young, and they won't give a rat's ass and certainly won't refund if the animal gets sick and dies. And with these guys allowing their bitch to shit on my lawn... that could be one such sign, for them to be a potential bad breeder...
